I did a bit, but I think I wrote less than 1000 words. Still, it was two or three scripts for my podcast, so that's good.

Hey writers! It's another sunny weekend. How's the writing going? Read anything good lately?

I've been reading more - I've been reading the Simonson collections of Thor and I'm up to the one where Thor is turned into a frog and then becomes Frog Thor. Also going through my Uncanny newsletters and here are a few things I enjoyed:

The Worshipful Society of Glovers by Mary Robinette Kowal (tw for seizures and murder)
Sucks (to Be You) by Katharine Duckett - romance and obsession, but not the creepy kind
Fandom for Robots by Vina Jie-Min Prasad - if you haven't read this, you really should
Children of Thorns, Children of Water by Aliette de Bordard - I kinda want to read the rest of the series now (but this stands alone)
Read Before Use by Chinelo Onwualu (tw for a character magically setting herself on fire, and implied sex)

So this question is to sort out details of a plot event requiring a Major Character Death warning, and while I'm not sure Graphic Depictions of Violence is strictly applicable (though I'm sure it's more applicable to this post than it will be to the scenes I'm trying to plan here), better safe than sorry, right?

( I'm tailoring the cause of death to a wordplay. This makes perfect sense in context. ) SEND HELP.

I think the strong mojito I had yesterday may have been a mistake because today I haven't felt like doing anything. I've spent the day rewatching Animal Airport on Netflix and harrassing the cats. But the Welbutrin is helping because I did get out of bed and had breakfast AND lunch.
